Bicycles on Campus
Bicycle Standards
- Bicycles are permitted on all campus roadways.
- Bicycles are not permitted on walking paths and sidewalks.
Bicycle Compounds
Bicycle compounds accommodate hundreds of bicycles and some skateboard
There are four free bicycle compounds on campus, located:
- south of the Welcome Center
- adjacent to the Guy West Bridge
- north of Benicia Hall
- at the corner of Sinclair Road/Moraga Way
ASI Peak Adventures Bike Shop
Associated Students, inc. is located in the University Union. This on-campus Bike Shop offers free air, lube, and minor adjustments. They also offer full tunes ups and flat fixes, retail with discounts for ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ students, bike trips, and classes & clinics.
Bicycle Security
Sacramento State Police Department Community Service Officers (CSOs) staff two of the four bicycle compounds (Benicial Hall and Guy West Bridge compounds) during the Fall and Spring semesters from:
- 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday
Although the bicycle compounds are staffed to help deter theft, bicycles parked in the compounds are parked at the owner's risk.
- Bicycle racks are available for use throughout the campus.
- Bicycle lockers are available for a fee through the .
